About GMCS

Themis is built by GMCS (GM Campus Solutions), a company founded by John Molohan, Group Head of IT at Griffith College, and Seamus Morris, CEO of MIT Education Solutions Ltd, to transform how higher education institutions manage their operations. With offices in Dublin and Waterford, and deep roots in the Irish higher education sector, we built Themis because we experienced first-hand the limitations of the systems available to institutions. We knew there was a better way to manage registrations, assessments, timetabling, finance, and reporting – and we built it. Themis is now in active use managing hundreds of thousands of applicants and learners across further and higher education institutions. It supports the full student lifecycle, integrates with existing institutional systems, and is backed by a team that understands the sector from the inside.

Our Approach

We work as partners, not vendors. Every Themis implementation is tailored to the institution’s specific requirements, and our team stays closely involved through deployment, training, and ongoing support. We believe the best software comes from understanding the real day-to-day challenges of the people who use it – which is why we built Themis with direct input from registrars, faculty administrators, finance teams, and IT departments.

Our Vision

Higher education institutions deserve technology that works the way they do – not the other way around. Too many institutions are held back by rigid, fragmented systems that create more work than they save, force teams into workarounds, and make it harder to see the full picture of how students are progressing. Our vision is a sector where every institution, regardless of size, has access to modern, integrated management tools that give staff their time back and give leadership the data they need to make informed decisions. That’s what we’re building with Themis – and we’re doing it in close partnership with the institutions that use it every day.
